On December 16, 2011 military police abducted a protester ‘Abboudy’ from the cabinet sit-in in Qasr Ainy street near Tahrir square. Abboudy was badly beaten any tortured by military forces. Hours later clashes erupted between protesters and military forces leading to a non-stop battle that lasted for more than 48 hours.So far more than 10 have been killed by army’s live bullets and hundreds injured.
